Description
Digital photograph showing southwest perspective view of Michael Fulp House. The yellow caution tape was in place during engineering studies to determine the structural stability and safety of the exterior masonry walls and chimney stack. A restoration program is under consideration, and the work will be scheduled to begin in late summer, 2010. The west eaves wall shown here was restored in 1970-71 and is relatively stable. The Mouns Jones House is seen to the left [north] of Michael Fulp House. The west [river-side] eaves wall seen here was almost fully re-constructed in the 1971-72 restoration following the partial collapse of the roof and segments of the walls [see MFHPH41--1005.01.042 & MFHPH42--1005.01.043].
